Read • A • Thon
Beginning on Monday, November 13th and lasting until Friday, December 1st Waves of Education will be partnering with the Fair Haven School District and hosting its third annual Read-A-Thon.
During this time span, Fair Haven students (grades 1-5) will be pledging to read a certain number of minutes and asking family as well as friends to support them in reaching their goal through monetary donations.
This year Waves of Education has set a fundraising goal of $30,000 to help fund things such as school maintenance fees, purchasing a bus for students to be transported to and from the school, and hiring more teachers so that more students can attend.
